Utiligent Consulting provides expert health and safety advice for organizations in Ontario. Our mission is to provide our clients with practical safety solutions that benefit all levels of a business.
We specialize in working with high risk industries such as utilities, infrastructure, roofing and construction (civil and residential).

Bill Shewan, Owner and President of Utiligent Consulting has a unique blend of experiences that include working for the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA) in addition to safety leadership roles for businesses in high-risk industries.
Bill created IHSA’s first audit program (ZeroQuest) while conducting technical audits for clients of the organization. The Zeroquest auditing standard was in use for more than 15 years, and only recently retired in 2018 to be replaced by COR™.
